My dad and I flew into Atlanta last night and spent the night at a hotel. A smooth flight and only a few nerves. This morning we ate breakfast at Waffle House, mediocre food with excellent customer service, well worth the visit.
We had some time to kill so we stopped at a lake where we were met by a small Saturday church gathering that prayed for us and blessed us, I felt like it was a wink from God saying “you are on the right path”.
When we drove on to the property we were met by an enthusiastic crowd and soon I started meeting teammates. These people are amazing!! Truly handpicked to be working together on a team.
I have set up my what is my home for the next few weeks and I love it. A good tent with a good sleeping pad, good neighbors and twinkle lights. It hasn’t rained yet but there is continual thunder and a bit of lightning. The cicadas are very noisy.
